No Mental Block

Update:
I finished my essay! Finally... after 2 hours. No more mental block. :D

Rewarded myself by not doing anything after that. Played Sims 2 for a while, then watched TV.

I deserve it. :)

Mental Block

I tried to do my English homework today, and I couldn't. (I have to write an essay based on a book - Girl With A Pearl Earring) At first, I thought it was just distractions. So I moved the laptop to the kitchen from all the noise (still with my iPod) - no luck! Then I got pretty frustrated, so I went for a run. Came back and tried again, without my iPod. And I still couldn't do my work. My ideas were flowing in my head but I couldn't write it on paper somehow.

Now, I tell myself that I have to do my essay tomorrow. But I'm worried that I will have another mental block again. Sigh...

A Holiday Day...

So today I went to watch a movie - Race to Witch Mountain. It was good, great effects and fun storyline. Then kinda walked around the mall for a while. Ate at Nandos for 30 minutes, then went to tuition. Fun day, better than the rest of the holidays... :P


From now onwards I'm going to study my butt off. Because I want to be a nerd!

Argh! Headache.

Update (Bad Mood)

Tired and in a very bad mood.

I told you guys before that I had these 2 day UMAT course (9am - 5pm!!! ><). The course wasn't all that bad, it's just the drive there and back sucked so much.

Both journeys took 3 hours altogether, because the course took place in the city (downtown). I was so sleepy at the ride back, and there was such heavy traffic. The car braked so many times that I couldn't really have a good sleep. Argh, and the jerks were most of the time so sudden that my head jerked forward a couple of times. =.=

Back to the course, it was good. I made a few friends. At first it was just me and a family friend together. Then I saw a girl coming who was in my bio class but she was in year 12 (I'm in year 11). So I came up to her and asked her if she was from my school (to confirm). She said yes, and then we kinda started hanging out together after that. She's pretty cool and she's mixed (half Chinese half Aussie). Along the way I made friends with two other Asian girls and an Aussie guy.

Just an update. I really hope tomorrow will be much better. I'm so exhausted and cranky.

I get to wake up late now... Waited 4 months for this day.

After school, couple of friends and I went to eat at Subway, walked around the Glen for a while. Then I went back home. After a while, I went to take a well deserved nap for 2 hours. Now, I have nothing to do.

On Wednesday and Thursday, I have to take a two-day UMAT course. In case you don't know what UMAT is, it is a test you take if you want to get into Medicine.
