Back From The Grave?

Back... from the blog grave.

Still checking my blog to see if i updated? You're awesome. Give yourself a pat on the back. You deserve it.

Anyway, it is the last holiday before the FINAL EXAM, possibly the most important exam of my life. It's funny how I looked forward to this holiday not to rest or play, but to catch up on my work. I've laid out all my books on the floor; a stack for chemistry, a stack for chinese, etc. And I plan to stuff all of that knowledge into my brain. It's going to be a fun 2 week holiday.

What have I done...? Well, I gave blood! My school does this every year, where yr 12 students (me!) would be brought by one or two teachers to Red Cross, to donate blood. So I decided to go for it. Altogether, eight of us went with two teachers. While waiting, a teacher quizzed us on our general knowledge. There's this one guy (friend) who's so good at these things. Got 29 out of 30 right. He should go on "Who wants to be a millionaire?" Anyway, the nurses called my name and I left. They tried to draw blood from my left arm, but couldn't locate the "main" vein. They thought they found it, stuck the needle in, and then said, "Wait, I can't find it now." So they did my right arm. And they said there's actually two here. Lol. Stinging at first, but fine.

Next, ... wow, I have no life actually. I bet a cow has a more interesting life than me. Eat, shit, and moooooo all day. [My ideal life] There's actually nothing interesting to write here. It's kinda like the same routine. Oh, but on Friday (last day of school), a few friends (neighbours) and I decided to play board games. Played Cluedo and Scrabble. A friend actually came up with a seven letter word (SHOULDER) and we earned 169 points. Obviously we won. Cluedo was fun, especially with 7 of us. A lot of guessing, and suspicious looks here and there. Ultimately, FUN.

Well here's to end my blog post drought. Many more to come? Depends on how stressed I am with my studies.

I AM EXTREMELY PISSED OFF AT THE MOMENT, COS I'VE JUST SEEN A VIDEO OF A SINGAPOREAN WOMAN HITTING A DOG.

I'M NOT GOING TO BOTHER TALKING ABOUT THE CONTENT OF THE VIDEO, AND PUTTING IT UP, BECAUSE IT DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE ON MY BLOG.

IF YOU WANT TO WITNESS THIS LADY'S HORRIBLE ACTIONS, CLICK HERE.

HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT THE VIDEO: HERE

TERRIBLY DISGUSTING. ass

Hello

Wow, it HAS been long hasn't it? Haha.

Well, as some of you might know, I did go back to Singapore for 9 days. And they were certainly fun-filled days. If I didn't get to see you, I might at the end of the year. So look out for that!

It was my first time taking the plane by myself and I must say, it wasn't as scary as I thought. It was actually okay, and a tad exciting. I also realised that they wouldn't let any persons under 18 years old to sit with a guy. Interesting...

During the nine days, I watched 3 movies. In the order of AWESOMENESS:
1. TOY STORY 3

2. THE KARATE KID

3. KNIGHT AND DAY

I really felt that the makers of Toy Story 3 made the movie for us, the ones who watched the first ever Toy Story movie when we were little, and watched the third one as teenagers (or young adults). I shall not go into details for those who have not watched it, but I really felt like was Andy (the main human character). Like him, it was time to grow up and let the young children enjoy their childhood. It was very touching (especially at the end). But I didn't cry at the end... (could have though)...

I watched The Karate Kid on the first day upon arriving with Dad. It was pretty cool, and funny.

Knight and Day was alright, just not as good as the first two. :)

[And yes, I ate tons of food. Guilty, but I shall eat less in Australia.]

It was a treat that Chloe slept in Mama's house during the time I stayed there. It was cool talking to her at night (knowing she didn't have to go back home :P). Pictures of the first day of sleepover is on Facebook if you guys wanna see them. It was fun. Mama and Dagu were hilarious.

But now, it's back to studying. Only 3 months to the final exams.
3 more months to sacrifice.
3 more months.
3 more months.
I can do it.

See you guys hopefully soon.

Revival

It's been a while. My blog isn't dead, it just hibernated. But the harsh season (my exam period) is over. Just one more SAC and holidays start! But I'm definitely taking things easier now. And I don't study as much as I did before.

So many things happened... Lost finally finished, which I thought was bittersweet. It was definitely the best show I have ever watched. Since I was in Singapore, I had already been hooked on the show. When I saw the series finale on TV a few weeks ago, I was excited to see how the show finally ended. And once it did, I continued to sit still, taking in what I just saw. It was over...

It was also the first time I watched the show Survivors. The latest season was really good!

I know what you're thinking... If you were so busy, why do you have time to watch TV? And I reply, SHUT UP! I NEED A BREAK LEH.

Not much today. Because I really have nothing interesting to talk about. But I will be going to my school formal on Wednesday. Going in a limo! Gonna be fun fooshooooooooo...! Maybe there'll be pics. Who knows. :)

Err...?

How are you guys doing?

I'm good... and expecting a busy week ahead. Tons of SACS (assignments) and tests. It's already the middle of April and I'm aware that this will be my last year in Melbourne before going back to Singapore for two years. I'm sure going to miss this place, this weather, the people, etc. Two years is too long, I reckon. Not looking forward to the weather. But you know, IT HAS TO BE DONE!

In case you guys don't know, I have a treadmill in the house. Dad and Mum bought it earlier this year. I think, without it, I would have failed the fitness test (for the army). :D

Starting to use Facebook more often. Maybe I shouldn't... Taking up too much study time!

Mum's loving her mini-garden. Lookin' good. If she allows, I'll take pictures and post it later.

P.S: Starting to appreciate The Chinese Language. (only starting to... don't get excited.)
P.P.S: =D
P.P.P.S: What does P.S stand for?

Cold Snap

I forgot how cold Melbourne can be...

...freezing at the moment.

Yearning...

I want to go to Universal Studios Singapore!

...been looking at pictures of U.S.S on the internet. And so far, everyone has said that it does not disappoint. Dying to go. Must go at the end of the year.

I deserve this trip after such a tough year.

What's That Over There?

Towards the end, where it tries to "wave"...? Err...

Woot!

School finally ends.

First term summed up in one word: Stress.
Next term probably going to be: More Stress.

Gotta plan this holiday right.

The Hailstorm

I was studying in my room. And then it started to turn dark and gloomy. I was going to turn on the light when I realised that it started hailing. But this was no ordinary hail. It was louder than past hailstorms.

I went outside to the back and saw hailstones - the size of golf balls. WOW!
Mum told me to get the camera to record this, and I did. But I started recording later in the storm, and so the hailstones don't seem as big...

17

Cause when you're... 17...

So today I turn 17. I think I've reached that age where birthdays don't matter as much it did in the past. But I still enjoy getting presents (who doesn't?).

I tell myself that my birthday should still be a celebration of my time in this world. Because my life was brought here for a reason.

How did I spend it? Mum was the first to wish me H.B. Then Debbie, and then, friends. Of course I didn't expect everyone to remember. But a few did, and it kinda spread around. With many birthday wishes and two classes of mine singing "Happy Birthday" for me, I felt really good about myself. My life is good.

There's a tradition... 17 punches for turning 17. My arm's starting to bruise...

Mum made sushi. Mmm...

Sorry I haven't been updating much. Life's really stressful nowadays, with the final year of VCE. It's the year where I can finally prove myself, but for that to happen, much sacrifice has to be made, including free time. But I continue to keep a balanced lifestyle, telling myself not to burn out. There are still times for fun, like today. Work hard, play hard. Probably my motto for the year.

Been really into Disney songs nowadays. Where did that come from? What's your favourite one? Currently, mine's "Colours of the Wind" in Pocahontas.
