Took a Maths test today. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Actually, I took another Maths test before and I got 88. Good, but not good enough. I wasn't the highest. Wow, I was quite surprised! Before I came to Australia, everyone was saying "You'll get first for sure!". However, it seems that there are smart people here, even smarter people!!!
Let's just hope I get better for this test!

Son, don't forget GWSC is the top public school in NSW, not to mention there are many asians in your class too. Having said that, it doesn't mean you cannot perform better than your friends. Do take advantage of the competition and put it to good use. Also importantly, enjoy yourself in school.
Wa...88 for Maths! I don't remember getting such good marks for Maths when I was in school. :p Keep up the good work and yes most importantly - enjoy learning! :)
LOL
Will do...
aiyoh... pls don't pressure yourself to be first in class. It is good to have competition but most importantly, u must enjoy the process of studying. that is the most important. Then lessons will always be interesting and you will benefit the most :)
your expectations are quite high!
Hey ++hyper-active-gal++, is that the reason why you seem relax? Only with high expectations, one can strive to improve.
Hehe, I used to bug Nic and Deb to study. Now I will bug you. PSLE is just few months away, you know!
You earlier said in your class there were 50% Indians, 40% Chinese and 10% others. So 88 is very very good, don't forget you have jumped class.
Hehe...
That's true, heibao...
-_-'''okok...but dun push too hard! i hv lots of tuition, school teachers that is bugging me too! oh, and dun forget...my parents!
