School Problems

Things are pretty much the same since school started. I'm still hanging out with my friends which I made at the first day. But I'm still trying to make more friends. Boy, is it hard! I mean, ever wanted to talk to someone but were afraid to because he/she would think you're weird? It's quite scary really. Maybe you're not like me because you're sociable... I'm not...

By the way, by keeping to yourself, your classmates may think you are weird too. Its like a double edged sword; you either put it to good use or be hurt by it. Son, you have a nice personality and people who think you are weird are themselves weird. Relax and you will find favour.

Actually most of the time the other person is afraid/shy to make the first step too. So just smile and introduce yourself. That always break the ice. Moreover, like what your dad said, you have a nice personality! That's half the battle won! :)

It always begins with a smile and eye contact.

Don't have to start talking to the other person immediately... but a simple smile when you meet in the canteen or hallway will go a long way to build friendships :)

to make you feel better, actually when i want to be someone's friend, i ask immediately, "hi, can i be your friend?" then you won't have any problems. unless that person is rude/got some problem then i can't help you...
